1.2 MW Hydropower Project
Horizontal Francis turbines, 2 × 600 kW units. 60 m net head. Operational since 2018. One of TC's flagship African references, maintained remotely by TC and on-site by HIER.
From 60 kW village micro-hydro to 160 MW utility stations. Every project in this portfolio was built on TC equipment, and (in Africa) delivered through our local partner HIER.
These are HIER's operating assets. Each is connected to Madagascar's JIRAMA grid, serves paying customers, and demonstrates TC × HIER's full lifecycle capability.
Each of these projects has signed financing, environmental approval, and an EPC contractor. TC is the lead equipment supplier. First power: 2026.
Flagship project. 8 MW run-of-river on the Lokoho river. Will electrify 175,000 residents in 32 villages. 38 km of MV distribution line. Commissioning target: 2027.
8 MW · 175,000 people3 MW project in southern Madagascar. Designed to anchor a regional industrial zone. TC supplying 2 × 1.5 MW Francis units plus complete electrical scope.
3 MW · 2 × Francis 1.5 MW2.5 MW medium-head site. Optimized for the local agricultural load curve — daytime irrigation pumping plus evening household demand.
2.5 MW · Agricultural + domestic4.9 MW project supplying the Antsirabe industrial corridor. Includes step-up substation to JIRAMA's 35 kV regional grid.
4.9 MW · Industrial + gridTwo 5 MW sites on the Mania river basin. Bundled EPC for shared civil works and grid connection. Currently in detailed design.
2 × 5 MW = 10 MW totalFirst hybrid project. Combines 88 kWp solar PV + battery storage + hydropower enhancement. Off-grid template for remote Madagascar villages.
88 kWp PV + BESS + hydroTC has shipped and commissioned hydropower equipment across four continents. The gallery below shows selected projects from our international portfolio.
Horizontal Francis turbines, 2 × 600 kW units. 60 m net head. Operational since 2018. One of TC's flagship African references, maintained remotely by TC and on-site by HIER.
Three vertical Francis units, 18.9 MW total. High-head design with long penstock. EPC delivered by TC including full electromechanical scope and grid connection.
2 × 320 kW Pelton units for the Kasanjiku community. Client has visited TC factory twice for acceptance testing. The Africa-Pelton reference for TC.
Two separate sites in northern Pakistan. Francis turbines, both delivered and commissioned. Includes local installation supervision by TC field engineers.
One of TC's largest Central Asian references. Two 12 MW Francis units with full balance-of-plant including 110 kV step-up substation. Operational since 2016.
